Get found for the work you want, in the areas you cover.
Done-for-you SEO for trade and service businesses. We improve your website and Google presence so customers can find and understand what you offer.
Your services and location help customers find a business that fits the job.
What is SEO?
SEO stands for search engine optimisation. It means improving your website so search engines understand your business and people can find it when they search for your services.
That includes explaining your work clearly, showing where you operate and making it easy to enquire. It helps you appear in unpaid search results; it is different from buying an advert.
What you do
Clear pages for the services you want customers to find.
Where you work
Accurate areas and business details across your website and Google.
Why choose you
Real job examples, photos and reviews to help people decide.
Reach people already looking for your services.
A search often starts with a job that needs doing. SEO helps connect that search to a useful page about the work you offer.
We look at how people search for your services and areas, then agree which opportunities are worth focusing on.
Examples of what customers search for
- electrician near me
- boiler replacement in Sheffield
- commercial maintenance in Leeds
Illustrative searches. We research demand for your own services and locations.
SEO managed for you.
Here is what we handle.
We agree the priorities, carry out the work and review progress with you. Your website, Google Maps and AI-search visibility are connected parts of the same service.
You provide the business knowledge. We turn it into clear pages and accurate information customers can use.
- Website improvements
- Find and address issues that stop search engines reading your pages or make it harder for customers to use your site and enquire.
- Google Business Profile
- Improve the services, photos and business details people see on Google Search and Maps.
- Service and area pages
- Create or improve useful pages about the work you do and the places you actually serve.
- Customer questions and proof
- Explain what customers need to know and bring your real reviews, photos and past work into view.
- Tracking and ongoing review
- Check how people find and contact you, then use the available data and your feedback to guide the next improvements.
Want to see what SEO could involve for your business?
Book a growth callBuilt around your trade, services and areas.
We start with the work you want more of and where it makes sense for you to travel. Your priorities guide which pages and searches we focus on first.
SEO can suit a business ready to invest in visibility over time. If you need work immediately, we will discuss whether another channel should run alongside it.
- The services you want to grow
- Repairs, installations, maintenance or larger projects. We agree what matters to your business.
- The customers you want to reach
- Homeowners, businesses or both, with information that answers their different questions.
- The areas you can serve
- Focus on realistic coverage and capacity. Listing a town does not guarantee a Maps position there.
How we get your SEO started.
We explain the priorities before work begins, then build and review the improvements with you.
What we need from you
Your services and areas, website and Google profile access, and any useful job photos, reviews or enquiry data. You check the business details and handle calls, quotes and customer work.
Review your starting point
We look at your website, Google profile, local competition and how people currently enquire.
Agree the plan and scope
Choose the services and areas, set priorities, and explain the proposed work, cost and terms.
Make the improvements
Work on the agreed pages, business details and website issues, with your input where we need it.
Review progress together
Check visibility, enquiries and your feedback. Use what we learn to decide what needs attention next.
How we measure progress.
The goal is to help the right people find and contact you. We connect search data with enquiry quality wherever the information is available.
- Visibility for your services
- Whether your pages and Google profile are being found for relevant work and areas.
- Calls and forms
- Enquiry forms and call data where tracking is available. A click on a phone number alone does not confirm a conversation.
- Relevant enquiries
- Your feedback on the services, locations and types of job people are asking about.
- Quotes and booked work
- Where you share the records, we review which enquiries led to quotes or jobs.
Search changes take time. We look at trends alongside the work completed and explain what the data can and cannot tell us.
How AI search fits into your SEO.
People also use AI tools to research services. Clear pages, useful answers and accurate business details give those tools better information to work with.
We consider this within your SEO plan. Google says its usual SEO guidance applies to its AI search features, too. Being included or recommended is never guaranteed.

What is SEO?
SEO stands for search engine optimisation. It is the work that helps search engines understand your website and helps people find it when they look for your services. Our service also covers your Google Business Profile and local business information.
How long does SEO take?
Plan for months rather than days. Some improvements can be picked up sooner, but meaningful progress depends on your website, competition, services and areas. We review the starting point with you and set expectations before work begins; there is no fixed date for results.
How long do I need to commit for?
We explain the proposed term, review points and cancellation arrangements before you agree. The time needed to assess SEO progress is separate from the contract term. We will discuss both on the call.
Does SEO guarantee leads?
No. Better visibility can help more people find you, but it cannot guarantee enquiries or booked jobs. Demand, competition, your offer and how enquiries are handled all affect the outcome.
What does InstallsUp guarantee?
We commit to clear priorities, carrying out the agreed work and reviewing progress with you. Those commitments are set out in the proposal. We do not guarantee a search position, a number of leads or inclusion in AI answers.
What will you need from me?
Details of your services, areas and capacity, access to your website and Google Business Profile where available, and any existing search or enquiry data. Photos, reviews and job examples help us describe your work accurately. You approve business details and handle incoming enquiries.
How much does SEO cost?
The cost depends on your starting point and the services and areas you want to focus on. We discuss what needs doing and set out the scope and price before you decide. A website rebuild or other substantial work would need its own agreed scope.
Can SEO work alongside existing lead generation?
Yes. SEO helps you reach people searching for your services. Advertising and outreach can reach potential customers in other ways. We can plan SEO around the campaigns you already run and look at the contribution of each channel.
Do you manage Google Maps as part of SEO?
Yes. We include work on your Google Business Profile, which is how your business details appear on Google Search and Maps. We keep that work connected to your website. Local results also depend on the searcher's location and competition, so coverage cannot be guaranteed.
Is AI search a separate service?
No. We consider AI search within the same SEO plan. Clear service information, useful answers and accurate business details remain the focus. Different tools choose sources differently, and we cannot guarantee that they will mention or recommend your business.
Let's talk about getting your business found.
On a 30-minute call, we will discuss your services, the areas you cover and how customers find you today. Then we can explain whether SEO fits and what to look at first.
